Astrology. Magic. Symbolism.
The art of interpretation.
I’m Kim Fairminer, an Australian astrologer, author, editor, and magical practitioner. My work explores how we interpret the patterns, stories, and symbols that shape our understanding of the world and our place within it.
Drawing on more than 25 years of magical practice and over 15 years as a professional astrologer, I weave together traditional astrology, lived practice, and a writer’s attention to meaning.
Astrology for meaningful decisions
Astrology offers a way to examine circumstances, recognise patterns, and consider what comes next. My consultations combine traditional astrological techniques with intuitive attention, helping you approach important questions with greater clarity.
NATAL STRATEGY SESSION
A considered reading of your birth chart and upcoming cycles, focused on your circumstances, priorities, and current influences.
HORARY ASTROLOGY
A focused astrological judgement on a specific question using the traditional techniques of horary astrology.
AUTHOR MENTORING
Three-month author mentoring for writers, deck creators, astrologers, and symbolic practitioners developing a substantial project.
Books, writing & published work
My writing and editorial work brings together esoteric knowledge, symbolic interpretation, and the practical craft of writing. I’m an editor and contributing author of the Living Witchery books, and a contributing author to the Unity Oracle project. My forthcoming Featherlight Oracle is an original deck developed with Blue Angel Publishing and artist Ana Novaes, due in early 2027.
I write daily horoscopes for The West Australian and edit Acrux, the journal of the Queensland Federation of Astrologers.
